Maui Achievers Blog Hop October 2020
10/19/2020
Thanks for hopping with the 2021 Maui Achievers today! We are a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators who have earned the amazing Stampin' Up! incentive trip to Maui. We hop together once a month to bring creative inspiration to you! I hope you enjoy all the amazing projects!
It's not to late to finish those Halloween treats! I have made more then ever this year, and have loved using the amazing tins available in the August-December 2020 Mini Catalog. There are rectangular and round tins.
These projects were so fun to make using the Magic in this Night product suite. These products are all coordinated to work amazing together. The Black Glitter Paper, Iridescent Pearls, and Metallic Mesh Ribbon are some of my favorite extras in the entire August - December 2020 Mini Catalog!
As soon as I saw these round tins, I knew I wanted to make a shaker tin with it. This tin has really fun items inside, including a spider, die cut from a window sheet, black glitter bats, die cut from Black Glitter Paper using the Halloween Magic Dies, plus lots of colorful sequins from the Sequins for Everything sequins collection.
I have removed the amazing Metallic Mesh Ribbon here so you can see inside!
This shaker tin was made by adhering a large circle of Magic in this Night designer paper to foam strips placed on the inside of the lid.
Both tins were made with items from the Magic in this Night product suite, plus the Ghoulish Goodies stamp set. It's not too late to make your Halloween treat tins! I have listed some of the products I used below.
This rectangle tin has a simple belly band, also made from the Magic in this Night designer paper. I stamped the beautiful bat image from the Hallows Night Magic stamp set directly onto the tin with Jet Black StazOn ink.
I hope you like my treat tin ideas, and thanks for hopping along! Continue to hop with us to see even more amazing projects!
3-D Tutorial Bundle Autumn Goodness
10/01/2020
Welcome to another 3-D Tutorial Bundle blog hop!
Each month, the 3-D Bundle Tutorial Design Team creates a 3-D project tutorial for you, then we create a second project to feature on our blogs. The tutorial can be yours free, or you may purchase it.
This month, I am featuring the Autumn Goodness stamp and die bundle from the August-December Mini Catalog. It has everything fall, with amazing dies.
On today's project, I used the dies to pull in all kinds of texture, plus added some accents with Shimmery Crystal Effects and Wink of Stella from the Annual Catalog. I love how the Shimmery Crystal Effects makes the pumpkins look 3-D.
The new Foam Adhesive Sheets die cut so nicely. I die cut the fence after applying Foam Adhesive Sheet to cardstock to make it look 3-D.
To Create the Card:
- cut a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" Cajun Craze card base, score at 4 1/4"
- cut a 3 7/8" x 5 1/8" piece of Garden Green cardstock
- cut a 3 3/4" x 5" piece of Very Vanilla cardstock, emboss with the Subtle Embossing Folder
Adhere vanilla to Garden Green. Tie with ribbon, then adhere to card base with dimensional. Apply foam adhesive to Early Espresso Cardstock, then die cut a fence. Apply to card front. Die cut the wheelbarrow using Early Espresso and Real Red cardstock and the hay using Crushed Curry cardstock after stamping in Crumb Cake ink. Stamp pumpkin portion of stamp, then fussy cut. Color stems. Cover with Shimmery Crystal Effects. Once dry, add pumpkins into wheelbarrow and to card front. Stamp sentiment on a scrap of Crushed Curry cardstock in Garden Green ink and apply to card front.

Color Fusers Blog Hop September 2020
09/07/2020
It's Color Fuser time! The first Monday of each month, the Color Fusers hop with a fun color challenge. I hope you hop along with us today to see how we each used today's colors.
I chose to make a simple card using the Queen Anne's Lace stamp set, but spruced it up with all kinds of shimmer and shine!
This stamp set has a nice focal piece, and some perfect sentiments. I really like the mixed fonts included.
The Balmy Blue Glimmer Paper in the August-December 2020 Mini Catalog is just amazing! It is sooo shimmery, and makes a great layer piece. It anchors the color on this project. A little Wink of Stella helped carry that shimmer, and the adhesive-backed Blue Gems provide the perfect subtle accent.
A sprinkle of color was added by flicking the brush tip of the Melon Mambo Stampin' Write Marker on the marker lid.
To create this card:
- apply a Balmy Blue watercolor wash on Fluid 100 watercolor paper, and allow to dry
- cut a 3 7/8" x 5 1/8" piece of Balmy Blue Glimmer Paper
- cut a 4 1/4" x 11" piece of Thick Whisper White cardstock, score at 5 1/2"
Trim the watercolor paper down to 3 3/4" x 5". Stamp the floral outline in Night of Navy, stamped off once. Stamp inside of flower in Balmy Blue ink, stamped off once. Stamp sentiment in lower corner in Balmy Blue ink. Using the Melon Mambo Stampin' Write Marker, flick the brush tip on the cap to splatter color over the flowers. Layer the watercolor paper onto the glimmer paper, then adhere to card front with dimensionals. Add Wink of Stella accents to the flowers. Tie a bow in Snowflake Splendour ribbon, and adhere to floral stems with a glue dot. Embellish with Blue Gems as desired.
Stampin' Tip: The new Water Painters from the Annual catalog are amazing! The set of 3 includes a wide tip brush, which works awesome for applying a watercolor wash to a bigger surface. When I say a wide brush, I mean just that! No streaks or hard lines to blend with this gem. They are a must for sure!
I hope you enjoyed seeing the Queen Anne's Lace stamp set today. It made this card come together in a snap!
